Frequently asked
questions.

Eligibility, dates and entry costs need careful reading. The official organizer brief remains the final authority for each call.

Can architects based in Iraq enter every call?
No. Each listing shows the route we could verify for entrants in Iraq and the region. Some calls have location, professional registration, student or entity restrictions. Read the eligibility note and the organizer’s current rules before preparing an entry.
Are deadlines shown in Baghdad time?
We include a Baghdad conversion when the organizer states a clear deadline and time zone. If a time zone or cut-off time is missing, it remains unconfirmed. Always check the official page immediately before submitting.
Does the Atlas charge an entry fee?
Browsing the Atlas is free. Competition organizers may charge registration or submission fees. Each listing reports the fee information we could verify; taxes, payment methods and whether a payment can be made from Iraq may require a separate check.
How are competitions checked?
Calls are researched through official organizer pages and briefs. Directories and public social posts can help us discover a call, but they do not establish its deadline, eligibility or fee. Each listing links back to its sources.
Can I submit an entry through this website?
No. The Atlas is a research and discovery guide. Registration, payment and submission take place on the organizer’s own site. Open a competition’s detail page for the official entry route.
What if a deadline or rule changes?
Organizer pages can change after a listing is checked. The Atlas shows its latest source scan, but you should verify the live brief and terms before you register, pay or submit. If a detail cannot be confirmed, we mark it as unconfirmed.
